1. What PickClue does

PickClue publishes practical guides and simple tools for choosing and adopting the right pet: breed and lifestyle fit, how the adoption process works, real first-year costs, and settling a new dog or cat in at home. Some tools, such as fit quizzes, adoptable-pet search, and alerts for new listings, run on PickClue subdomains. We write for people deciding whether and what to adopt, with calm, honest information instead of pressure.

PickClue is not a shelter or rescue. Adoptable-pet listings in our tools come from partner organizations, and every adoption happens directly between you and the rescue or shelter. Our content is educational only and is not a substitute for advice from a licensed veterinarian or your local shelter or rescue.

2. Who operates this site

PickClue (pickclue.com) is operated by Keenvo Tech OÜ, a company registered in Estonia under registration number 17457927, with its registered address at Kotkapoja tn 2a-10, 10615 Tallinn, Estonia. Keenvo Tech OÜ is responsible for the product, billing, and data processing of PickClue. Advertising, traffic acquisition, and monetization services are provided by ActiveView OÜ, registered in Estonia (16639782), Kotkapoja tn 2a-10, Tallinn 10615, Harju, Estonia.

3. How we make money

Reading PickClue is free, and so are our core tools. We make money through advertising, including optional short sponsored videos that unlock extra features in some tools; through optional paid plans in some tools, described before you pay; and through affiliate commissions when you buy a product we link to, at no extra cost to you. Paid members are not shown ads in the tool they pay for. We never charge for access to adoptable-pet listings or rescue contact details, and ads, plans, and commissions never change the substance of our editorial guidance.
